The next performance of the Pinellas Community Players!
Whatever we are good at, we all started somewhere.
It was through the encouragement of others that we found the motivation to keep going and share what we know and what we can do, to help make our world a better place to live.
Attend this performance of the Pinellas Community Players, and bring a friend with you :)
Led by Derek Currier, this ensemble gives adults the opportunity to improve their skills on an instrument either new to them or from their youth.
Free to attend.
Freewill donations invited.

Our exciting community tradition is back! We're thrilled to announce the fifth annual Pinellas Festival of Community Bands. This year, you're in for a real treat. Be prepared for a musical smorgasbord from bands across Florida.
Each band will show off their unique talents and skills for 20 minutes sets. It's a musical feast that you don't want to miss. And, make sure to invite your friends; the more the merrier!
Four very influential composers were born 100 years ago in 1920, giving us classics such Brubeck's “Take Five,” Khatchaturian's “Sabre Dance,” Arutiunian's “Trumpet Concerto,” and Charlie Parker's numerous jazz songs. Indulge in tributes to the early 20th century crossover popularists!
A collection of patriotic anthems, ballads, and epics between our celebrations of those we lost defending our liberties and our independence from tyrannical rule.
Many big pieces of music come in small parts, and to continue what we started in our Fall concert last year, you are treated to the whole shebang as the composer intended. Our entire community gets to expand our musical prowess beyond the delightful little ditties we relish the rest of the year.
This time around, you'll hear pieces like:
Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and looking out the window. You see snow covered fields and the snowman you built the day before running around having the time of their life! Before you know it, together you are floating and soaring above the treetops on a trip of sweet imagination. Perhaps the world's favorite pencil animation, The Snowman features the lyrical song "Walking in the Air" - a wonderful dream world around which we can build a fabulous holiday concert for all the family.
Treat yourself to these splendid pieces:
