Music Preview & Social
Thinking about our European Tour?
Us too, and here's an offer you simply won't want to refuse!
Calling all registered and potential Florida Symphonic Winds members to join us for a very-pre-tour "Music Preview" session and social. Meet your fellow bandmates, play through our tour repertoire with Maestro Stephen P. Brown, and stay with us for lunch afterwards in Dunedin! (Optional. But if you're within driving range, why wouldn't you want to come?)
On Saturday July 10, doors open at 8:15am for coffee and donuts, and downbeat at 9am. Our run-through workshop will end by 11am and then we head out for lunch nearby at "Our Place" 1617 Main Street. And yes, we'll talk about the tour as well during the workshop If you registered for the tour offering multiple instruments, bring your favorite or all of them to this workshop - we'll chat about specific tour instrumentation as well.
Right now the Summer of 2022 and our European Tour may feel like a distant thought, but they will feel so much closer by joining in this workshop on July 10.
Registration is required. DONATIONS to help cover the costs of this workshop are much appreciated - even $10 goes a long way to help. (Our parent organization, the Dunedin Music Society, is a 501c3 public charity).
You may bring a non-performing spouse, partner or other guest to listen to the workshop and/ or attend the lunch with us :)
