The Rhythm Kings Jazz Orchestra (formerly the Tarpon Springs Rhythm Kings) performs the great jazz and dance music of the 1920s and early 1930s.
In 2013, internationally renowned composer and arranger Dan Fox (20 million copies sold of songbooks for John Denver, the Beatles, Kenny Rogers, Crosby Stills Nash and Young, Peter Paul and Mary, Led Zeppelin, Richard Stoltzman, Sir James Galway, Luciano Pavarotti, and more) founded a new ensemble by bringing together eager local Tampa Bay players of early jazz excited by high quality of musicianship, direction, and the chance to encourage audiences to get up off their feet and dance!
This 12-piece band with guest vocalists present invigorating performances year-round throughout the Tampa Bay region.
Don your flashy duds, your beads, and your dancing shoes and celebrate any upbeat, happy event with the Rhythm Kings Jazz Orchestra, playing the types of Orleans Jazz and brass band music you’d find in “The Big Easy.”
