The Florida Symphonic Winds is a special "touring band" that connects the best of Tampa Bay with the rest of the USA and Europe for fun, fellowship, sightseeing, and live music.

Tours are open to Tampa Bay region woodwind, brass and percussion players (subject to instrumentation balance), their families and friends, and members of the Dunedin Music Society.

Each tour is preceded by five rehearsals as well as an all-day, all-traveler workshop and local performance a few days before departing.

Next Tour

July 21-31, 2022

Austria & Germany with optional Prague extension (7/31-8/3)

***Update May 1, 2021 We're excited to announce that our tour currently has fifty-four musicians (54) and seventy-four participants (74).

We are seeking additional musicians in all sections except flute/picc, clarinet, and saxophone (will wait-list). Bass clarinet, contrabass clarinet, and alto clarinet players also still welcomed!).

Specifically, we'd love to tour with a couple more trumpets & horns; plus an additional tuba, string bass, and percussionist. Join Us!

Ideally, we'd like a band of sixty or so players and there is still room for YOU! Additional reservations are being accepted NOW to join the band beyond the initial March 31 deadline. Join us!
